Set up MR comments and commit statuses for GitLab.com and self-hosted instances.

The Videlic GitLab integration posts trust score notes on merge requests and sets commit statuses — works for both GitLab.com and self-hosted instances.

Setup

  1. Go to your Videlic dashboard → Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click Connect GitLab and enter your GitLab instance URL and a personal access token with api scope.
  3. Select which projects should receive MR notes.

What it posts

On every MR that includes an analyzed session, Videlic posts:

  • Overall Trust Score with a pass/fail indicator.
  • Summary of findings from each analyzer.
  • Link to the full Videlic report.

Self-hosted GitLab

Enter your instance URL (e.g. https://gitlab.company.com) instead of https://gitlab.com. Requires network access from Videlic to your instance.

Pipeline status

Enable the Videlic Trust Score external status check in your project settings to block MR merges on low-scoring sessions.
